The Diagnostics Marketing Association (DxMA) will host a seminar at the American Association for Clinical Chemistry’s (AACC) Annual Conference entitled, “Big Data: The Next Frontier for Clinical Laboratory Innovation?” The DxMA is a nonprofit organization that builds leadership in the diagnostic industry by providing industry knowledge, professional development and a venue for the exchange of ideas. The conference will take place on Monday, July 28, 2014 in Chicago, Illinois.
The seminar will feature three panelists who will strive to answer the question, “How can today’s laboratorian manage and capitalize on big data?” Panelists are drawn from healthcare professionals and diagnostic industry leaders who have a vision for how this innovation evolution might look and insight into what laboratorians may expect. Participating on the panel are Sean Scott, VP and GM of Clinical Genomics – QIAGEN; Curt Johnson, COO of Orchard Software; and Simon Chin, President, CEO and Founder of Biotechnologies, Inc.
