LinkedIn Direct Sponsored Content Now Available Through SHIFT’s Open Marketing Cloud

New capability is the latest development within LinkedIn’s Sponsored API Updates program, helping marketers and agencies build relationships with target audiences through content.

This new Direct Sponsored Content capability will be available as part of the LinkedIn advertising solution within SHIFT’s Open Marketing Cloud, which provides marketers tools for planning, optimizing and analyzing social advertising marketing campaigns for global brands, including 10 of the top 20 largest advertisers in the world.

This past April, SHIFT was selected as a launch partner for LinkedIn’s Sponsored Updates program, providing marketers access to LinkedIn’s 300+ million professional users directly from SHIFT’s Open Marketing Cloud. Direct Sponsored Content is the newest feature available as part of an advanced suite of offerings available to empower advertisers to manage their Sponsored Updates campaigns.

Direct Sponsored Content will give advertisers the ability to post sponsored content to LinkedIn’s homepage feed without publishing it on their company page. Instead, it will appear only in the homepage feeds of the LinkedIn members who fit the targeting criteria specified in the campaign. Promoting content to a select audience gives advertisers the flexibility to A/B test content and run campaigns with a limited duration, such as event promotions and limited time offers. This also enables advertisers to reach an audience without having to display the content to followers of their Company Page.
