AIN presents “Celebration of a Fashionista”, the finale Fashion Showcase to the Accessories in the Nude series. On Saturday, August 2, 2014, the new face of AIN and the highly anticipated AIN: Accessory Design Competition winner will be announced. Sponsored by Tint, Creative Silence Studios, Driven Magazine, Flair Productions, Belk, The Fashion Pape r and the Old Warsaw the, the event will begin with an exclusive Press and VIP reception at 6:30 pm. The show will begin promptly at 7:30 pm located at 2620 A Venue located at 2620 Maple Avenue Dallas, Texas 75201. The luxurious special event hall tucked away in the quaint hills of Dallas, Texas will play host to a night celebrating some of the South’s top accessory designers and the birth of its founder Meko Kroute-King.

Noella Kalambay, Terri Datcher, Thais Mills, Emme, Jacque Martin, Megan Brigham, Ashlee Long, Kanupriya Pande, Brooke Reynolds are the 9 competing accessory designers set to attend the finale to discover who will take home the prizes and bragging rights as AIN’s Top Accessory Designer of the year. Each contestant contributes their own eccentric flair to the awaited production. Designer Noella Kalambay is one of the most sought out creators in her spectrum. Terri Datcher’s main mission is to enhance a woman’s inner and outer beauty, and she does it with every collection piece. New Orleans native & painter, Thais Mills brings the garden to Bourbon St. with every handmade couture flower created. Jacque Martin transforms elite leather into adorned masterpieces for men and women alike. Ashlee Long brings a distinct approach to fashion and has no plans of slowing down. Megan Brigham’s designs marry colorful gems, feathers and jewels in the most unique way. Kanupriya Pande, Brooke Reynolds & Emme will all be front and center awaiting to see who is the Face of AIN. Each AIN: Accessory Design contestant will have a private vending table to display, discuss and sell their products.

Accessories in the Nude (AIN) is an altruistic project that was embraced in 2008. AIN creates the feel of eclectic range of fashion, art and business. It highlights the hottest apparel from new, established, and celebrity designers. This year, notable fashion designers CHARLES SMITH II, Adonai Image, Elvira Diaz, Black Kaviar, Meg Morgan, Midpoint Eclectic, Tiki Glam, Phantasie, Levenity, Persona Custom Clothiers and Melancolic will showcase their latest collections.

Each year, AIN Founder, Meko Krout-King introduces a new cause and charity to her intense fashion platform. This year, 40-year-old cancer surviving Nurse Tatyneshia “Tona” Collins, who discovered the fate of her stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer on Friday the 13th, will be honored. Her husband and children are all hopeful, and thanks to AIN, her story will reach thousands as well as support her newfound journey to recovery. Selected proceeds from this event will aid in Tona’s rehabilitation and awareness of her unfortunate medical condition.
