“We are honored to partner with the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media,” says Abri Holden, Director of Linkage’s Women in Leadership Institute. “Geena and her Institute’s pioneering research has opened the eyes and doors of Hollywood, leading to greater gender diversity in children’s movies and television. For over 16 years, Linkage has worked with organizations around the world to advance women leaders. Together, our goal is the same: to create a world where, “If she can see it, she can be it”, whether that is through a character on her favorite TV show or a woman leader thriving at the top of an organization.”

Founded by Academy Award®-winning actor and advocate Geena Davis, the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media is the only research-based organization working within the entertainment industry to engage, educate, and influence the need to dramatically improve gender balance, reduce stereotyping, and create diverse female characters in entertainment targeting children.
