We learned about new materials that are being introduced and creative ways to process profiles and shapes to our needs.

Cope Plastics, Inc. recently presented a Plastics Seminar at Stellar Industries in Hiawatha, IA. Cope representatives Joe Seidel (Sales Engineer) and Garrett Bertsch (National Sales Engineer) presented to Design & Manufacturing Engineers, Production Supervisors, as well as Purchasing representatives.
Joe and Garrett spent time with Stellar employees, educating them on new plastic materials, applications and design potential where polymer materials can improve Stellar's products. This meeting proved fruitful, as Stellar is looking to improve parts performance, weight reductions, and cost improvements.
Matt Schroeder, Stellar Engineering Manager was impressed with their presentation, stating, “We learned about new materials that are being introduced and creative ways to process profiles and shapes to our needs. I also see future value in their technical experts coming on campus to review our applications in design and to suggest ways to reduce cost, weight and maximize up time for our products on the move.”
Chris Parcher, Marketing Communications Assistant from Stellar, wrote about the seminar in the July Prime Advantage Newsletter. Read the full story here: http://www.primeadvantage.com/email/2014-07primetimes/cope.jsp.
