It was important for us to create a brand that people would feel comfortable identifying with even if they didn’t qualify for the program, but still wanted to show support for those fighting their battles.
Plainview, New York (PRWEB) August 11, 2014
While normally a DUI checkpoint is something most individuals try and avoid, the MarijuanaDoctors.com ‘Cannabis Checkpoint’ is something that will most likely illicit a very different response. Medical marijuana is now legal in New York and MarijuanaDoctors.com, a Plainview, N.Y. based company wants to help you find out if you can qualify! On Thursday August 14th MarijuanaDoctors.com will be hosting a ‘Cannabis Checkpoint’ outside its Plainview headquarters in its state wide effort to help patients understand the program and its details.
MarijuanaDoctors.com will have both its custom designed ambulance and limousine parked and available to the public directly on 88 Sunnyside Blvd. The move comes after noticing the excessive amount of attention the vehicles receive around the clock from passing drivers and pedestrians (5,000 cars daily). “We were receiving so many phone calls asking what the purpose of the ambulance was that we decided to set up a day specifically to answer the public’s questions and see if they qualify for the upcoming program,” says COO John Nicolazzo.
The purpose of the pop-up Cannabis Checkpoints will be to answer patient’s general questions about medical marijuana and the legislature Governor Cuomo signed last month. MarijuanaDoctors.com representatives will be on hand all day on the 14th to answer questions, hand out educational information, and give out limited samples of its cannabis couture clothing line, 420 Friendly. “It was important for us to create a brand that people would feel comfortable identifying with even if they didn’t qualify for the program, but still wanted to show support for those fighting their battles. 420 Friendly is a term that symbolizes that solidarity.”
MarijuanaDoctors plans to have its first Cannabis Checkpoint in New York but it will not be its last. The innovative marketing plan aims to educate those in areas who may not be as familiar with cannabis as other mainstream areas of the nation. Future states will include; Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and other Atlantic region states with pending medical marijuana legislation.
For any questions regarding the unique Cannabis Checkpoints, which will be running from 9am to 5pm on the corner of Sunnyside Blvd and Terminal Drive, people are encouraged to visit MarijuanaDoctors.com or stop by in person and book an appointment with one of the physicians in the MarijuanaDoctors.com network.
