Mediaspectrum, Inc.® today announced it has entered into a contract with Switzerland’s largest directories business, local.ch. Under terms of the agreement, the Mediaspectrum multi-channel platform was selected to consolidate and automate advertising operations throughout local.ch’s complete online, mobile and print directory products and services.
With implementation already underway, Mediaspectrum’s Cloud-based solutions will be responsible for managing local.ch’s entire workflow of end-to-end advertising—from proposal to payment to distribution—and including white/yellow page listings, micro-sites, mobile alerts, translation services and more. This will all be controlled based on Mediaspectrum’s CORE technology, which can quickly and easily integrate with legacy systems to create value for clients from day one of installation.
“The flexibility of Mediaspectrum’s platform to schedule, price and workflow any one of our products was something we had not seen before from a provider,” said Guido Kaufmann, CIO and Head of Production at local.ch. “As opportunities continue to emerge from mobile and digital, Mediaspectrum is just the partner to help consolidate our business IT efforts forward and facilitate new sales and revenue channels.”
Mediaspectrum CORE is the first end-to-end software supply chain in the cloud. It brings together all of the components for mission critical enterprise applications pre-configured in a modern, flexible and scalable architecture that’s ready for use, out-of-the-box. Deployed on top of CORE is a set of pre-integrated media solutions that clients can choose from to super-charge sales, prioritize new revenue opportunities, create content for multimedia channels and power their mobile app – all operating on one holistic data model. CORE’s platform and underlying rules engine is a proven fit for media companies that have struggled with innovation and fragmentation.
“More business leaders across the globe are catching on to the capabilities of our technology to position their organizations for future-proof success, as signified by our partnership with local.ch,” said Scott Killoh, CEO at Mediaspectrum. “It also representative of the modern, flexible architecture that Mediaspectrum built its platform—to be agnostic to whatever product or service is being sold, regardless of industry. This win takes us beyond traditional media, and demonstrates to the world how far reaching Mediaspectrum CORE can be leveraged to support any business looking to achieve rapid and significant cost reductions while increasing revenue.”
