Our goal is to raise the 180° Kitchen's profile in Atlanta as an exceptional catering business, run with pure heart and soul.

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) August 13, 2014

Brand Fever is proud to announce the launch of 180° Kitchen (http://180kitchen.com), a fully operational culinary education facility and catering program benefitting the City of Refuge.

The 180° Kitchen is a celebration of freshly squeezed, finely chopped, upscale goodness that embodies every aspect of the City of Refuge mission to bring strength, hope and light to Atlanta’s last, lost and least. People gather here not only to feed their bellies but also to feed their minds and souls with knowledge and friendship.

180° Kitchen is the only culinary arts school of its kind in Atlanta. It’s a unique part of the City of Refuge family, run by Executive Chef Robert Owens and supported by his team of Atlanta’s talented rising cooks who together prepare mouth-watering opulent American cuisines perfect for any occasion. Profits generated through the 180° Kitchen are used to enrich other programs within the nonprofit’s Atlanta-based campus, such as childcare and free health clinics.

Through the culinary art school, students gain vocational skills that can lead to jobs. Through the meal sharing program people acquire nutritional training that can lead to healthier children and better living.

Brand Fever was awarded a grant by Sappi North America's Ideas That Matter design program to aid in the creation of the 180˚ Kitchen brand. The grant program is aimed at encouraging visual artists to create and implement integrated projects for charitable and nonprofit organizations in their communities.

"Our goal is to raise the 180° Kitchen's profile in Atlanta as an exceptional catering business, run with pure heart and soul," Brand Fever's grant proposal stated.

The project emphasizes “tasting the good”, and features hand drawn typography and epicurean illustrations that lend an organic mood to the project. Brand Fever developed multiple communication pieces including a dynamic video, microsite, promotional posters, flyers, business cards, letterhead, chef’s coats, a catering truck wrap and even a billboard campaign.

City of Refuge is a community and ministry driven organization that serves Atlanta's most impoverished families through physical, mental and spiritual rebirth.

Brand Fever, a brand and marketing firm with Fortune 500 and 100 clients, devotes a significant portion of its time and talent to organizations making a difference in their community. Good work and goodwill are central to the company’s values, as evidenced by projects and donations in partnership with the Shepherd Center, High Museum, and ChildKind.
