Never before has crowdfunding like this been used to initiate a World’s Fair. It wasn’t even possible for such a large event until recently.

Expo 2023 is The Minnesota World's Fair

Nine million people from 200+ countries flock every month to Indiegogo to explore and find a compelling project to “engage” with. That is what the Expo 2023 team is banking on. And, this is exactly what the Indiegogo crowdfunding website is all about. Connecting people and projects to bring them to life. It provides Expo 2023 the opportunity to reach beyond it's loyal local audience to a global one that is highly interested in World’s Fairs.”

The crowdfunding campaign is staged as part of an overall global engagement campaign and just in time for Expo 2023’s official public launch next week at the Minnesota State Fair.
