Life in HI-FI Announces the First Ever Mobile Lifestyle Network™
Ponte Vedra, Fla. (PRWEB) August 27, 2014 -- Life in HI-FI, Inc. today announces the launch of HI-FI, the world’s first Mobile Lifestyle Network™, a new experience that revolves around the things you care about – the people, places and passions that make life fun. Now available as a free download on the iTunes App Store, HI-FI is a new social media application where users tune into personalized hashtags on social channels organized around their lifestyle interests.
With HI-FI, users simply tune into their favorite lifestyle channels - waves, music, tech, fashion, just to name a few – and enter a world of easily consumable rich and personalized media.
Finally a social network that brings users new, exciting and fun content - in the form of animated GIFs, HD photos and GoPro® videos – that they are actually interested in.
Today, social media platforms have become cluttered, impersonal and disorganized. Users follow people they hardly know and end up in a blizzard of content they don’t want and could care less about. Why not enjoy a social experience that mirrors the way individuals consume traditional media like watching TV or listening to the radio – through channels and programs? HI-FI provides this style of organization in a social media medium that is hyper-engaging.
“For the first time in your life, you can actually have fun on social media,” says HI-FI founder Winder Hughes. “HI-FI is using hashtags, which we call ‘TagTopics™,’ to organize social experiences around the things we care about and want to see.”
HI-FI is taking social engagement to the next level through its highly interactive “1Up” feature. Instead of the usual “like” or “comment”, users on HI-FI can “1Up” each other, thereby exciting the conversation in new ways that have never been done before. Users really want to be captivated and inspired by the social content they engage with – “1Upping” fulfills this need.
HI-FI launched the new app at the East Coast Surf Championships in Virginia Beach, Virginia August 17-24th 2014. “This is a place where beach and surf enthusiasts from around the world celebrate the end of summer,” said Paul West, director of the Florida Surfing Association and the host of the ECSC. “This is just the first of many events that HI-FI plans to attend in an effort to build communities of lifestyle enthusiasts and create some mind-blowing GIFs along the way.”
To kick it off, users can join #SummersLastParty on HI-FI for a chance to win a free GoPro 3+ Hero Black Edition. See details on HI-FI’s Instagram and Facebook pages (@livelifeinhifi) and at http://www.lifeinhifi.com/summerslastparty.
