Paradox Interactive has been cooking up an interstellar storm with sci-fi fan favorite ingredients: Dina Meyer (“Starship Troopers”, “Dragonheart”) in her first video game performance, Ron Glass (“Firefly”, “Serenity”) Aaron Douglas (“Battlestar Galactica)”, John Billingsley (“Star Trek: Enterprise”), Richard Gunn (“Dark Angel”) and Dwight Schultz (“Star Trek: Next Generation”, “A-Team”) with the imagination of newcomer scribe - Jesse Griffith.
“Ancient Space” is a story driven, first person real-time strategy game. Little is currently known about the story other than it follows an expedition through the “Black Zone” a region of space filled with gas clouds and debris. With Dina Meyer at the CIC, it's like Dizzy Flores is all grown up and commanding her own fleet. Take a look at the trailer.
Jesse Griffith is a growing name in the science fiction community having won several film festivals for “Cockpit”, (starring Ronny Cox of “Robocop” “Total Recall”) a feature screenplay and short proof of concept film. Announcements for production of the “Cockpit” feature film are expected soon.
All eyes are on autumn to learn more about “Ancient Space”, and the next iteration of “Cockpit.”
