In an industry where mobile payments have become predictable and innovation stagnant, SecureNet is putting intelligence, customizability and control in the hands of business owners in Austin and around the country

SecureNet was named the winner of the Austin Energy Technology & Innovation Award in the Mid-sized Category of the 2014 Greater Austin Business Awards. Hosted by the Austin Chamber of Commerce, the annual event recognized SecureNet’s Inventory Management solution for empowering local SMBs with a new and more effective way to manage their businesses.

“Innovation is the lifeblood of SecureNet’s business and company culture,” said Brent Warrington, CEO, SecureNet. “To be recognized as a technology leader in one of the fastest growing tech cities – Austin – is truly an honor. SecureNet’s PayOS platform is the only cloud-based point-of-sale, mobile and e-commerce framework that integrates payments, powerful data analytics and real-time inventory management across locations and channels. We’re grateful to the Austin Chamber of Commerce for recognizing the innovation and advanced capabilities that drive SecureNet’s vision.”

The comprehensive suite of features allows businesses to track across all locations what they have in stock, what they’ve sold and what they need to replenish. Data and analytics are organized in easy-to-use, actionable graphs that can be viewed by time and transaction type.

Additionally, Inventory Management allows users to:

  •     Transfer inventory across locations
  •     Set thresholds to alert when inventory is low
  •     Order inventory from vendors within the app

"The Austin Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce our winners and celebrate all that is great about doing business in Austin," said Phyllis Snodgrass, Chief Operating Officer, Austin Chamber of Commerce. "We're proud to honor the many great businesses that make Austin such a tremendous place to work and live."

With Inventory Management, businesses can leverage powerful data to drive more sales and make smarter business decisions, including how much floor space should be allocated to specific products, what items and locations provide the most revenue and what products should be featured.

“In an industry where mobile payments have become predictable and innovation stagnant, SecureNet is putting intelligence, customizability and control in the hands of business owners in Austin and around the country,” Warrington said.
