Landmark Homes, in partnership with Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology and Lancaster County’s Workforce Investment Board, will host the first ever Construction Trades Day on September 17th.

Construction Trades day is an interactive, hands-on event designed to educate local middle and high school students, parents, counselors, and educators on the types of career opportunities available in the Construction Industry, highlighting the increasing demand for these high skill, high wage positions.

Students and participants will be guided through the process of new home construction via live demonstrations from local trade professionals. Career fields that will be represented are HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, concrete and masonry, engineering, land development, and heavy equipment operations.

Construction Trades Day will be held rain or shine at Landmark's Home Towne Square community in Ephrata. Over 300 Lancaster County middle and high school students are expected to be in attendance for this inaugural event.
