Michael Benedek Serves on Multiple Panels Discussing the State of Tech Startups and the Future of Innovation

Leading online data marketplace Datonics has announced that CEO Michael Benedek will speak on two roundtable panels at the Axis Ottawa 2014 conference, which serves as a direct platform for global investors to meet promising Canadian startups, on September 9 and 10.

On the first roundtable (September 9), Benedek, along with fellow panelists, will discuss the state of tech startups in Ottawa and the role of incubators and accelerators. The second panel discussion (on the 10th) will focus on the future of innovation: Where will the next big breakthrough be? What sectors are on the verge of major disruption?

“With Datonics offices in New York and Tel Aviv – and my personal roots in Ottawa – I’m delighted to participate in Axis Ottawa, a truly global forum for startups, investors, and business and technology leaders to exchange ideas and insights,” commented Benedek. “Growing Datonics into a leading online marketplace for high-performing, proprietary data has been a tremendously rewarding experience– I look forward to contributing relevant information to what promises to be a compelling event.”

Axis Ottawa 2014, presented by Axis Innovation, a boutique corporate advisory firm founded by American investment professionals in Israel, is a two-day conference that combines startup pitches with investor feedback and keynote presentations on subjects ranging from the startup future in Canada to mobile monetization and more.
