Combining their strength for the last 16th years, San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant and The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival, have worked to create the World's Largest Lobster Festival and holder of four Guinness World Records. On Friday, September 12, 2014 they are set to use their success to celebrate the heroes of the War in Iraq and Afghanistan who have been wounded or sacrificed their lives for our freedoms by hosting a Wounded Warrior Project fundraiser at 7:00 PM.

"Its an honor to work with the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival to support these heroes."
During the opening events for the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival which will run from 5:00 PM Friday, September 12 through Sunday, September 14 in the afternoon, veterans will be honored and those that attend will be encouraged to give as well.
"Our Festival has grown into the largest of its kind in the world by making sure that our dinner with a full lobster is $20, parking is free, and we always give back," said Jim Hall, Producer and Founder of the Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival. "Over 16 years we have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars, so come for the feast, stay for the fun and you will be giving back at the same time."
The presentation of the checks raised on behalf of the has been moved forward to 7:00 PM on Friday, September 12, 2014 to accommodate the requests of veterans who would like to participate.
“Enjoying a fresh steamed Maine lobster meal is a real treat. Friday night at the Lobster Festival we’ll be honoring those who have sacrificed so much to give us the freedom to sit down with family and friends and enjoy that treat,” said Jim Hall, festival producer. “By making Friday September 12 a night at the Lobster Festival our guests will also be helping make life a little better for injured veterans through the Wounded Warrior Project™.”
