We look to host our largest and best conference ever – a construction community event where customers can collaborate with other attendees, connect with Viewpoint staff and executives, and take part in impactful information sessions.
Portland, Ore. (PRWEB) September 15, 2014
More than 1,200 customers, partners and exhibitors are scheduled to arrive in Portland next week, Sept, 22-25th, for Viewpoint Construction Software’s annual user conference, Collaboration 2014. This year’s conference will be held at the Oregon Convention Center to accommodate the growing group of industry leaders, media, customers, partners and exhibitors that look to attend.
Viewpoint will offer three full days of collaborative learning sessions, future product roadmap plans, tracks dedicated to roundtables and focus group discussions, and specific sessions designed for customer roles including Accountants, Executives, IT, Operations, Payroll and Project Managers. Michael Bellaman, President and CEO of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) will be attending this year and hosting, along with Viewpoint CEO Jay Haladay, a candid and conversational interview on “How Technology Might Reshape Productivity in the US Construction Workforce”. The event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 10:30-11:45 am.
“We look to host our largest and best conference ever – a construction community event where customers can collaborate with other attendees, connect with Viewpoint staff and executives, take part in impactful information sessions, and enjoy great speakers and entertainment,” offered Jim Paulson, President at Viewpoint. “A highlight of the conference each year is showcasing our Viewpoint Rock Solid Technology Award winners. The winners are chosen from customer nominations which demonstrate a positive impact in operating, growing, and succeeding in their construction business with the creative use of Vista. Two leaders emerged this year, McCosker Contracting Pty, Ltd. and All States Materials Group.”
McCosker Contracting, based in Central Queensland, Australia, developed an Asset Management System in Viewpoint, as they had lacked visibility in their previous system which used various Excel spreadsheets, managed by a number of employees.
Sunderland, Massachusetts-based All States Materials Group, lacked visibility into a myriad of non-construction contracts. To avoid situations of missed deadlines, they built a database of contracts using the Viewpoint User Database, and then using the notification feature built into Viewpoint’s Workflow module, created a list of those within the company that needed to follow up on these contracts in a proactive manner.
