Registration is now open for the 7th Annual Long Island Run For The Warriors®, a 10K, 5K, and 1-mile walk/run to be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014. The race is sponsored by Local 338 RWDSU/UFCW, the Town of Babylon, and Island Federal Credit Union, and will begin at the Town of Babylon Town Hall in Lindenhurst, NY. Registration is now open by visiting http://www.hopeforthewarriors.org/2014LIRun. The run is organized by Hope For The Warriors®, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.
General Registration for the event is $30. Registration for Active Duty Military, Veterans, and students (with valid ID) is $15. Gold Star Families and wounded service members participate for free. Hope For The Warriors® encourages everyone to register early to get the best prices. Registration increases to $35 on October 15. Registration is available online until November 5, at 6 a.m. Same day registration is available for $40.
