Social network startup Boomeon is announcing that its online community and social network for Baby Boomers has been awarded a 2014 Social Network Standard of Excellence WebAward by the Web Marketing Association.
“We’ve known since we first began to design and build Boomeon that we had something special,” said Natalie Dewhirst, Boomeon’s Director of Marketing, “and this Standard of Excellence WebAward further validates that. We’re proud of this award – and we’re also proud of what we do every day to make Boomeon a special place for all Baby Boomers.”
Competing sites are scored on design, ease of use, content, copywriting, technology, and other criteria, and reception of the Standard of Excellence award designates Boomeon as standing out from its social network peers.
According to Dewhirst, Boomeon won’t be content to just rest upon its laurels, however. “We’ve got some projects in the works that will make Boomeon an even better place for all Boomers – and make 2015 an even more exciting year than 2014. This social network award is just the beginning.”
Boomeon membership is free, and Baby Boomers and interested parties are invited to visit http://www.boomeon.com to check out everything Boomeon has to offer.
Boomeon, LLC is headquartered in Bonita Springs, Florida and was launched in January 2014 with the goal of providing Baby Boomers in America and around the world with a premier online community and social network that brings together experts on subject matter of interest to Boomers along with ways for users to make and share their own community content.
