PubNub, the leading global Data Stream Network, today announced that David Satterwhite has been appointed Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Customer Success. In this role, David will be responsible for leading PubNub’s sales organization and further accelerating the company’s customer acquisition and revenue growth.
David brings more than 20 years of experience building and scaling global sales, services and business development teams in the software industry. He began his high-tech career as a top sales performer at Oracle, and later held multiple leadership roles at Clarify where he helped build a $250 million public company. David then headed global sales for newScale Corp. where he grew revenue from under $1 million to over $35 million. Following newScale’s acquisition by Cisco, he ran America’s Sales for Good Technology where he helped drive a 10X increase in sales revenue into the hundreds of millions in under three years. In addition to these strategic roles, David also held interim and advisory positions at various companies including Groupswim, Yammer and Appcelerator.
