Verve, the leader in location-based mobile advertising, announced today the appointment of Jordan Rohan to Verve’s board of directors. Rohan is based in New York and his position is effective immediately.
Rohan is well known for his work as a leading equity analyst focused on Internet business models, specifically in the digital advertising and e-commerce space, and is now also providing Internet strategy and finance expertise to help businesses grow. Rohan’s commentary in the tech stock world has been featured extensively on Bloomberg, CNBC and Forbes. He was also named one of the top 5 stock pickers by The Wall Street Journal in the “Internet and Computer Services” category.

Over the past 15 years, Rohan has held several executive positions at various analyst and research firms including Schwab Soundview Capital Markets, RBC Capital Markets and Clearmeadow Partners. Most recently, Rohan was the managing director of Internet and digital media research at Stifel Nicolaus (formerly Thomas Weisel Partners), a full service brokerage and investment-banking firm.

Rohan graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and earned an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.
