Two Bikes, 24 hours, 310 miles – Rant & Rave Completes Epic Bike Ride for Charity

London-based customer engagement expert from Rant & Rave, Nick Boxall-Hunt (right in picture) has taken on the incredible challenge of riding 310 miles in under 24 hours to raise more than £1,450 for charity.

London-based customer engagement expert from Rant & Rave, Nick Boxall-Hunt (right in picture) has taken on the incredible challenge of riding 310 miles in under 24 hours to raise more than £1,450 for charity. Together with his friend Henry Erdoziain from Leeds, Nick began the ride in Finsbury Park in London and arrived in Newcastle the following day – 35 minutes inside their target time.

The cycle ride was in support of Action for A-T, a charity set up by a friend of Nick and Henry’s, which works to find a cure for Ataxia-Telangiectasia – a rare, genetic and degenerative childhood disease that affects multiple systems of the body. Nick and Henry’s friend’s daughter suffers from this devastating fatal disease.

Nick Boxall-Hunt, Sector Manager at Rant & Rave, says: “The bike ride was a massive physical and mental challenge but a fantastic experience and we are so pleased and grateful to have raised so much money. To do this in support of Action for A-T, a charity that is close to both our hearts, also means a lot as it is a relatively unknown disease and charity.”
