Mediware Information Systems, Inc. announced record-breaking attendance of nearly 600 attendees at its Elevate 2014-Mediware’s Home Care User Conference, held last week in Nashville.
The 3-day event brought together the best and brightest minds in Home Health, Home Medical Equipment (HME), Home Infusion, and Specialty Pharmacy to Nashville, where they “rocked” the music capital.
At the conference, the leaders of these businesses and the Mediware team had the opportunity to collaborate and discuss important changes in the industry, product road maps and ideas and important tactical and strategic plans. With the acquisition of CPR+ and Fastrack more than 18 months ago, more home care professionals now rely on Mediware’s software solutions than ever before. A significant focus of many of the presentations was turning the current financial and clinical challenges facing the industry into competitive advantages through the use of technologies included in Mediware software.
A highlight of the Conference was a preview of Mediware’s CareTend software– a cutting-edge system that brings together the best features of all the Mediware home care solutions into a single product platform that will support HME, DME, Home Infusion, Specialty Pharmacy, and Home Health Agency. The CareTend software will be available in early 2015.
In addition to the user’s conference, Mediware will also be represented at several industry events in the coming months:
- Specialty Pharmacy companies can see a product demonstration at the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy (NASP) conference starting September 30th;
- HME/DME professionals can see the new CareTend software at the 2014 Medtrade Conference beginning October 20th;
- Home Infusion therapists can see the solution at the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) conference on March 23rd
In addition, home care professionals can schedule a demonstration of CareTend software and CPR+ software by visiting the company website: http://www.mediware.com/home-care.
