Irving, Texas (PRWEB) September 24, 2014
Supply Chain Logix, a global supply chain provider, is pleased to announce that it has received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national standard of certification is a meticulous process that includes an in-depth review of the business as well as a site inspection and is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
"Obtaining a WBENC certification is a significant milestone for a woman-owned business. I am excited about the recognition that this national certification brings to the company and the opportunity to work with companies committed to diversity suppliers," said Brenda Stanfield, CEO of Supply Chain Logix.
By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier/vendor diversity programs.
