KSQ/Peterson is pleased to announce two new associates to the firm: Dan Hartenstine and David M. Meech.
KSQ/Peterson promotes these key staff members shortly after becoming a regional office of KSQ Architects and combining the strengths of both firms. KSQ is a national, award-winning firm with 26 years’ experience in higher education, K12 and multifamily architecture, and KSQ/Peterson brings more than 40 years of experience in North Carolina with a focus on healthcare design and engineering services.
Dan Hartenstine, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, CDT, has been named an associate of the firm. As a key member of the KSQ/Peterson leadership team, Mr. Hartenstine brings more than 18 years of experience in building projects ranging from higher education and K12 schools to churches and museums. A select list of Mr. Hartenstine’s clients includes UNC Charlotte, North Carolina State University, Clover School District, Christ Episcopal Church, Myers Park Presbyterian Church and the Mint Museum of Art. Mr. Hartenstine graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
David Meech, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, has been with KSQ/Peterson since 2011 as a Senior Project Manager and was previously with Gresham Smith and Partners and Perkins Eastman. Mr. Meech has nearly 35 years’ experience in healthcare architecture and master planning, and has worked with top medical centers throughout nine states. A graduate of University of Tennessee–Knoxville, his client list includes Wilson Medical Center, Cone Health, Novant Health, Carolina Healthcare System, Tenet Health, Hospital Corporation of America, and Cancer Treatment Centers of NC.
