MMTR Physiotherapy to Showcase Research at 2014 ACRM Conference

MMTR Physiotherapy, industry leading specialty clinic, announces it will present their research results at the 2014 American Congress Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) Conference. The ACRM conference is the largest interdisciplinary conference for rehabilitation research in the world.

We are very excited to attend the 91st ACRM Conference in Toronto, we plan to attend numerous educational and informational sessions predominately in the area of brain injury.

MMTR Physiotherapy, industry leading specialty clinic, announces it will present their research results at the 2014 American Congress Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) Conference. The ACRM conference is the largest interdisciplinary conference for rehabilitation research in the world.

MMTR’s Terry Moore, President and CEO, Bert Oucharek, Clinical and Operations Manager, and Dr. Tom Borys, Co-Author and Medical Director, will be presenting their research at the core conference on Thursday October 9th and Friday, October 10th. The core conference will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

The MMTR team will be presenting their clinical findings on an educational and research based poster, titled The Efficacy and Frequency of a Combination Myofascial Treatment for Long Standing Symptoms Post Concussion. The research presented on the poster was conducted within the MMTR Physiotherapy clinic using Terry Moore’s MyoWorx® Approach.

The poster will be displayed during the evening of October 9, 2014. Posters will be displayed in the ACRM Expo (Exhibit Hall) in the Metro Toronto Convention Center. MMTR’s team of industry experts will be addressing all questions and comments on Thursday, October 9th 2014, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 am in the ACRM Expo. During the conference, the MMTR team plans to attend numerous educational and informational sessions predominately in the area of brain injury.

This year marks the 91st ACRM conference. The conference helps to bring rehabilitation researchers and providers from all diagnostic specialties together to network and learn from one another. The annual conference is geared towards medical professionals in the fields of brain injury, spinal cord injury, stroke, neuro degenerative diseases, pain and cancer.
