We had prior experience of Bizagi Modeler and liked what we saw; its graphical look and feel and low-code approach is ideal for strengthening business/IT collaboration, making the step to automation and execution very easy.
London, UK (PRWEB UK) 3 October 2014
Bizagi is proud to announce that Gearbulk, an international shipping company which operates the world’s largest fleet of open hatch gantry and jib craned vessels, has selected Bizagi BPM software to support the automation of its management processes. The Bizagi BPMS platform is deployed as the process orchestration layer between several Gearbulk systems and acts as an automation engine.
Bizagi BPMS was selected after an extensive two-year search for the right solution, encompassing a thorough review of six BPM vendors via a structured RFP process and a Proof of Concept.
David Gooding, Senior Manager for Quality & Environment at Gearbulk commented: "Our focus was to deliver a specialized workflow solution in the business process management domain. Our business is complex; every year, our ships make thousands of port calls in over 70 countries, so the ability to easily visualize all our logistics services was very important. We had prior experience of Bizagi Modeler and liked what we saw; its graphical look and feel and low-code approach is ideal for strengthening business/IT collaboration, making the step to automation and execution very easy."
The Bizagi platform will become the integral infrastructure component facilitating a seamless flow of information across various internal and external systems.
Gustavo Gomez, Bizagi CEO added: "We are delighted that Gearbulk chose Bizagi to drive their BPM initiative. As recent implementations with adidas Group and Mars have shown, Bizagi brings huge business benefit by enabling organizations to implement a process ‘wrapper’ that is both agile and quick to deploy. This gives businesses all the power of an enterprise-standard BPMS with minimal impact on their core systems. We’re looking forward to working with Gearbulk to deliver fast results and flexibility for the future."
