The survey, backed by more than three decades of experience in design and review of benefits plans, was released on September 30, 2014. It presents comprehensive benefits data, including qualified and non-qualified retirement benefits, from 342 participants.
The data compiled for the National Healthcare Executive Benefits Survey is effective until March 1, 2014.

- $35,000 is the median perquisite allowance provided to the CEO
- 457(b) Plan prevalence for executives is approaching the levels of 401(k) and 403(b) plans
- There is a growing number of health reimbursement and health spending accounts due to the increasing prevalence of high deductible medical plans and consumer-driven health plans
