In response to changes affecting the insurance industry, The Institutes have released new and revised course content. These updates will help to ensure that program participants retain their competitive edge within the industry.
Essential revisions were made to courses within the following programs, reflecting recent changes that Insurance Services Office, Inc. (ISO) made to its commercial lines insurance forms:
- Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI®)
- Accredited Customer Service Representative (ACSR®)
- Associate in Claims (AIC™)
- Associate in Commercial Underwriting (AU™)
- Associate in General Insurance (AINS®)
- Associate in Reinsurance (ARe™)
- Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI™)
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU®)
The Institutes also revised their Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding (AFSB®) course, AFSB 151—Principles of Suretyship, which is now offered in self-study print and online versions with online practice exams, Review Notes and flash cards.
In addition to these course revisions, The Institutes created two new courses in the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF™) program. These new courses, providing up-to-date finance and risk content, are:
- AIAF 114—Insurer Accounting Management
- AIAF 115—Insurer Risk and Capital Management
Study materials for the new and revised courses are available for purchase now, with exams beginning in the January-March 2015 testing window. Exams on the previous version of study materials will be available until December 15, 2014.
