VideoMedicine is celebrating the successful BETA deployment of their mobile app for iOS and Android. Company founder, Dr. Charles Butler, give investors and select media a look at the second phase of development at a SF event on Saturday, 10/11.

On Saturday, October 11th, Video Medicine , LLC, will host a celebration at the swanky San Francisco speakeasy, Bourbon & Branch to mark the successful BETA deployment of their flagship app, VideoMedicine on September 18, 2014. At the event, company founder, Dr. Charles Butler, will give investors and select media a “sneak peek” into the future of the company and phase two of development of the groundbreaking telemedicine app.

The brand and app gained international attention when VideoMedicine ambassadors, Jason and Moon Ray, became overnight “tech celebrities” for promoting the app by camping out in front of the New York City Apple store for 19 days prior to the launch of the iPhone 6. USAToday, September 4, 2014 The couple used their position as #1 and #2 in line to purchase the new iPhone as an opportunity to promote the VideoMedicine app BETA phase to the media and interested parties.

VideoMedicine is a HIPAA compliant telemedicine app that allows patients to connect with a medical specialists using an innovative face-to-face video chat app. Patients can speak with physicians and psychologists to get advice, learn about treatments/diagnoses and in some instances even get a prescription. The patient can send relevant notes and high-resolution photos to the doctor, as well as make appointments from the comfort of their own home using a mobile device. The app differs from competitors in that it allows patients to select their own doctor from a network, provides access to world-renowned medical specialists and features a flexible, minute-by-minute billing system (patent pending) that even allows a consulting doctor to comp time for a patient.

The functional app was developed in partnership with Intersog, LLC - a Chicago, Illinois software development company.

About Dr. Charles Butler

Charles received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from the New York University School of Medicine, he is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. Before entering college, Charles was an Olympic athlete and competed in the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympic Games in ice dancing. He and his partner, Jessica Joseph, traveled the world as members of Team USA and became the first American ice dancing team to win the gold medal in the World Junior Championships. Since his Olympian days, Charles participates in Olympic sponsored projects via the Special Olympics and Ronald McDonald House.
