On Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 7-8:30 pm, in the Alumni Lounges at Ramapo College, 505 Ramapo Valley Road, Mahwah, NJ 07430, Ramapo will host “Pushing the Limits in Sports,” an event featuring Darren Templeton of both Push to Walk and New York Warriors Wheel Chair Rugby, and also Dan Monzo of the 2014 Team USA Paralympic Snowboarding team in Sochi. Both men will give presentations to share their stories and motivate others who may be going through similar situations.
The event has been advertised on Ramapo’s website and social media pages as well as Ramapo’s Berrie Center Annual Program, which reaches thousands of people. Expected attendees are Ramapo College students, faculty, and members of the surrounding community. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to ask Darren and Dan questions following their presentations.
