ACS Group will be both a presenter and an exhibitor of the 2014 Staffing Industry Analysts’ Contingent Workforce Strategies (CWS) Summit being held October 8-9 at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. ACS Group has participated in the CWS Summit for multiple years.
On Wednesday, October 8, Mark Zisholtz, ACS Group Vice President and Head of Workforce Compliance, will lead a roundtable discussion on the topic, “Independent Contractor (IC) Program Best Practices.” During this session, Zisholtz will share best practices throughout the lifecycle of an IC—from onboarding through offboarding—and give practical tips and guidance to help ensure regulatory compliance.
On Thursday, October 9, Zisholtz will be the lead panelist presenting on the topic of, “Redefining IC Misclassification in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Era.” During this session, Zisholtz will lead a panel of experts through a discussion designed to help guide participants through the ACA as it relates to independent contractor engagements, discussing how to improve processes and strategies so that business leaders can take advantage of the IC labor source without undue risk.
