DRT Strategies, Inc. (DRT) (http://www.drtstrategies.com), a leading management and technology consulting firm to federal agencies, the U. S. Navy, and commercial technology and financial services clients, announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) has issued a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to the company to provide CDRH Information Management Support (CIMS) services. The FDA issued the single-award BPA against the listed GSA Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) 70 contract. The award is valued at $50 million over five-years.

DRT will apply advanced solutions to provide full system life cycle management support and deliver continuity of services across the FDA CDRH CIMS portfolio. Specific task areas include Program and Project Management; Operations and Maintenance (O&M); System Enhancement; Development, Modernization, and Enhancement (DME); and Transition Activities.

“The CIMS portfolio is a significant segment of CDRH, covering one-third of its entire Information Technology (IT) portfolio,” commented DRT Strategies CEO, Susan Kidd. “And with the information sensitive work and business of FDA CDRH, DRT is well qualified to provide proven IT management methodologies, skilled BPA management, and in-depth knowledge of FDA’s environment to ensure the successful operation, maintenance, and enhancement of its technology systems.”

The FDA CDRH CIMS portfolio includes the IT systems and initiatives featuring distinctive device-related projects, highlighting public-facing interfaces, and promoting a knowledge-based and information-sharing environment through tools and technologies to support document management, search and discovery, collaboration, and social systems.

DRT will unify our comprehensive experience managing highly complex programs with multiple vendors and government stakeholders, and our deep understanding of HHS’ Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) methodologies to deliver predictably reliable IT management services to the FDA CDRH CIMS portfolio.
