Joanie’s Sisters in Support, a sorority of breast and ovarian cancer survivors, will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center, 1044 Belmont Ave.
A panel of survivors will address various cancer-related topics. There will also be time to socialize, meet new friends and share information.
The meeting is open to all women affected by breast or ovarian cancer – newly diagnosed as well as long-term survivors – and a guest.
Free parking is available in the lot immediately adjacent to the center on Park Avenue.
