We are thrilled to have surpassed our quarterly growth goals again in the third quarter, and to provide customers with new cart recovery tools to enhance the Bronto Marketing Platform

Bronto Software, the leading marketing platform for commerce, today announced the close of a record-breaking third quarter, highlighted by 38% year-over-year revenue growth. This result marks the third consecutive quarter of revenue growth exceeding the target of 30% and signals the increasing strength and consistency of the company’s performance. In addition, the Bronto Commerce Marketing Platform was enhanced through the release of its Cart Recovery functionality. The new software release expands the capabilities Bronto provides to commerce marketers that help to meet growing consumer demand for personalized and relevant marketing; making available sophisticated tools that help to regain revenue from abandoned shopping carts.

Commerce marketers are constantly challenged by the issue of abandoned carts, which according to Forrester Research results in $18 billion of lost revenue annually. Consistent with Bronto’s mission of driving ever greater ROI for commerce marketers, the Cart Recovery app helps retailers tackle the pervasive problem of shopping cart abandonment, turning potentially lost sales into realized revenue. Designed for easy implementation and integration with core functions of the Bronto Marketing Platform, the Cart Recovery app enables commerce marketers to send automated and personalized messages to cart abandoners, helping return them to the path to purchase. Typical Bronto customers recoup their investment with a week or two of implementation.

Committed to growing a world-class engineering and technology center, Bronto doubled its office space, marking its twelfth expansion within the past decade. The company currently employs more than 230 employees worldwide, with plans for continued domestic and international growth before year’s end.

While achieving a record level of new sales in the third quarter, Bronto again added notable brands to the client roster including Frederick’s of Hollywood, The Sleep Store and The Face Shop. Additionally, Bronto continued to build partnerships across the commerce ecosystem, signing 13 new partners in the third quarter such as Certona, TrustE and Blue Acorn.

The third quarter was also marked by multiple industry recognitions. Most significantly, Bronto was named the #1 email marketing provider to the Internet Retailer 1000, a ranking determined by the number of clients Bronto has among that group of leading e-retailers. For the sixth consecutive year, Bronto was named among the Inc. 5000 list, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing companies, as the only marketing platform for commerce to be included. Bronto was also named to the Triangle Business Journal’s Best Places to Work list for the fifth time, recognizing Bronto’s culture, work environment and employee perks.

“We are thrilled to have surpassed our quarterly growth goals again in the third quarter, and to provide customers with new cart recovery tools to enhance the Bronto Marketing Platform,” said Joe Colopy, Bronto Software CEO. “Building on our momentum, as we finish the year we remain focused on helping our customers drive growth in gross merchandise value during the critical 4th quarter.”
