The organizing committee for QMARSEC (Qatar Maritime Security Coastal and Border Surveillance Conference) 2014 and the Qatar National Security Shield Project, the official Host of QMARSEC 2014 is honored to announce that HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani; and HE Maj. Gen. Hamad bin Ali Al-Attiyah, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, will open and preside over QMARSEC the Qatar Maritime Security - Coastal & Border Surveillance Conference on October 14-15, 2014.
According to Staff Brigadier (Pilot) Mohammed A. AL-Mannai, Director, Qatar National Security Shield Project, “The QMARSEC 2014 conference is committed to a value-driven program, featuring senior and key military and security officials from around the world and we welcome the NATO Head of Operations as the NATO Secretary General’s designee to give the QMARSEC 2014 Keynote address tomorrow.”
The Qatar Prime Minister and Minister of Interior is in full support of this conference as their mission is to achieve peace and public security since modern-day Qatar was established. According to The Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa al-Thani, “Our organization fully supports the effort of this important QMARSEC 2014 conference.”
