Today, Vivaldi Partners Group, the global growth strategy firm, announced the hiring of Larry Lucas as Partner. Lucas brings over twenty years of experience in brand management helping clients achieve innovation and growth through practical, actionable marketing. He will be based in Chicago, joining current partner Ron Zhiss and expanding the firm’s Chicago presence.

Prior to joining Vivaldi, Lucas was a partner at Prophet where he advised clients on strategic marketing. He led client engagements across beverage, food, consumer durables, and multiple industrial sectors. Key assignments included Brunswick Marine, leading the CVS store brand portfolio strategy initiative, creating the organic growth strategy for BASF North America, and developing the Kellogg School of Management fundraising campaign strategy and overall brand strategy. Previously, at other consultancies, Lucas also worked on projects for SABMiller, Alcoa, and others.
Lucas is an accomplished CPG marketer who began his career at Clairol as Group Brand Director, where he led the resurgence of the Herbal Essences® hair/skin care franchise and was responsible for developing the worldwide brand strategy and identifying the strategic drivers to reach $1 billion in sales.
