“This preview is the beginning of CPM’s transition to a new, fully accredited Certification Program for professionals who want to advance their careers..." said Bill Mathis, CPM VP of Ed & Cert
Reston, VA (PRWEB) October 16, 2014
The College of Performance Management (CPM) has announced the preview exam for their new Certification Program, the Integrated Program Performance Management (IPPM) Certification. The operational preview exam will be introduced at the 26th Annual International Integrated Program Management (IPMW) Workshop. More information can be found here.
“This preview is the beginning of CPM’s transition to a new, fully accredited Certification Program for professionals who want to advance their careers in disciplines and functions of Integrated Program Performance Management,” said Bill Mathis, CPM VP of Education & Certification.
The three levels of the IPPM Certification will verify increasing competencies from a Foundation Level (concepts, awareness and fundamental knowledge); an Intermediate Practitioner Level (analytical and application skills); and then Advanced Practitioner Level (demonstrating ability to assess, create and evaluate applications of the principles.)
“This operation preview of the EVM Foundation Level exam is a unique opportunity for attendees at IPMW. This preview of the closed-book, certification exam will present an excellent study opportunity with all the rigor of the “live” certification testing coming in early 2015.”
The IPPM preview exam will be offered as an alternative to the CPM Certificate Testing. In exchange for taking the more difficult and rigorous test, examinees will benefit in several ways:
- the opportunity for “live study” of the production level exam as it will be introduced to the general public in Q1 2015
- a Certificate of Achievement for anyone who achieves a passing grade on the exam according to the Certification Standards for passing
- a discount off the initial IPPM Certification fees to apply when the program is available in Q1 2015, and
- pre-enrollment in the IPPM Certification Program (pending verification of minimum education and experience qualifications)
