Fiberblaze Introduces New Innovation for GTP Traffic Distribution in Mobile Networks

Share Article

Fiberblaze enables mobile service providers to boost their OSS/BSS capabilities with scalable GTP solutions.

Fiberblaze today unveiled at Futurecom an innovative solution for network data monitoring applications in Mobile Packet Core networks to help customers capitalize on the rapid growth in mobile broadband services.

Key to Fiberblaze’s approach is flexible, scalable, session aware distribution of GTP traffic in a single solution that can reduce the overall OPEX and CAPEX for service providers. The architectural scalability stems from the ability of the solution to distribute the combined control plane (GTP_C) and user place (GTP_U) traffic based on subscriber identity to several other probe units without the need for major changes to overall system architectures.

“We have leveraged our core competencies to deliver a unique product that enables a new paradigm for network data monitoring,” said Nikolaj Hermann, CTO of Fiberblaze. “Service providers can now boost their BSS/OSS capabilities to realize the full commercial value of network information.”
