Pragmatek announces that Karthik Palanisamy has joined the Twin Cities-based management consulting firm as vice president for analytics and SAP services. Most recently, he was senior managing director of analytics at GROM Associates, Inc.
In his new role, Palanisamy will work with C-level leaders to assess business needs and performance gaps, and create strategies to bridge those gaps with appropriate solutions. Further, he will oversee the delivery of these solutions to ensure goals are met.
Palanisamy brings more than 21 years of proven leadership qualities to Pragmatek. These include building and managing global teams, team development, and providing service to a global customer base. He has 15 years of business and technical experience, with an emphasis on strategic planning and project leadership in the areas of business intelligence and ERP implementation in SAP and other platforms.
At GROM, he assisted clients with analytics solutions through deep understanding of their business strategy and challenges. Prior to that, he was senior director of enterprise decision support and business relationship management for The Schwan Food Company. In that role, he worked with business leaders on leveraging analytics solutions, aligning business and IT strategy, and providing direction for new technology support, such as SAP’s in-memory technology called HANA.
