U.S. Directional Drilling today announced plans to build the area’s first real-time directional drilling monitoring station in Rockdale, Texas. This new station is targeted to service the growing demand for US oilfield specialty drilling. The real-time monitoring station and the company’s offices will revive the formerly vacant Cal-Tech, Inc. building with a redesign to custom fit U.S. Directional Drilling’s needs. The facility will have 1,380 square feet of office space with another 1,380 square feet of staff housing located directly above. This on-site housing will allow technicians to provide 24-hour monitoring of real-time data for any U.S. Directional Drilling operation. Technicians will have unparalleled access to supervise on going operations from a command center as well as on-site. The strategic monitoring site location permits service to surrounding Rockdale areas expected to be the next major play of Eagleford exploration in central Texas.

The state of the art monitoring station will contain the specialty equipment necessary to safely meet today’s in demand drilling depths. The advanced facility will bring at least 15 new jobs to Rockdale and be capable of monitoring a high volume of oilfield rigs annually.

U.S. Directional Drilling offers high quality drilling services in a safe, cost-effective manner with this highly efficient monitoring station.

The company’s Owner, Daniel Reynosa said, “We are excited to bring such a unique facility to Rockdale, my home town. This real-time monitoring station will offer unparalleled service to the Southwest region. Our new offices have already been well received by the Rockdale Municipal Development District, MDD and we are eager to serve the region’s directional drilling needs.”
