Instead of sweaters and scarves, pack swimsuits and sandals when you take a Mexican getaway to Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto, the perfect haven to escape the winter blues.
The newest member of the Villa Group resorts is offering a Mexican Getaway package that includes a personalized yoga session, private chef, snorkeling tour and much more, when guests book now, for travel between February 14, 2015 and May 30, 2015.
Travelers can take a short nonstop flight from LAX on Alaska Airlines to the Islands of Loreto, or from Calgary, Canada aboard WestJet, with a new nonstop service beginning on February 14, 2015.
“Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto is the ideal Mexican vacation,” said Owen Perry, co-owner and president, Villa Group. “Whether you’re cruising the Islands of Loreto looking for whales and dolphins, or relaxing with a margarita poolside, the adventures are endless at Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto.”
The Mexican Getaway package includes a seven-night, eight-day stay in a Deluxe Suite, which features palapa-inspired ceiling fans and air conditioning, a kitchenette for snacking and a luxurious balcony with amazing views of the indigo waters of the Sea of Cortez or majestic Sierra de la Giganta mountain range.
The package includes a private dinner prepared by a Villa del Palmar at the Islands of Loreto chef. Guests can choose from three romantic dinner settings – either from the comfort of their own private patio overlooking indigo waters, cozied up near one of the resort’s four fire pits while watching the sunset, or al fresco dining from within the turtle-shaped pool for a unique experience. A bottle of wine is included to top off the evening.
A number of outdoor adventures are also included in the package so guests can explore the charm of the beautiful Islands of Loreto, including a paddle boarding tour, kayaking tour, biking and hiking excursions, snorkeling in Danzante Bay and two SCUBA lessons with certified instructors.
Travelers can also feel centered with a personalized yoga class, and unwind with a $25 USD credit per person at the resort’s state-of-the-art 39,000 square-foot Sabila Spa.
The total package cost is $819 USD per person and is based on double occupancy. An all-inclusive option containing meals and drinks is available as well.
Expanded resort offerings include glamping (or “glamorous camping”) in a luxury beachfront Danzante Bungalow, world-class sport fishing aboard the resort’s Mad Dash tournament boat, and tours of the nearby Coronado, Danzante and Del Carmen Islands atop an APEX boat. The resort is currently preparing for the addition of a 7,400-yard Rees Jones-designed golf course that will overlook the breathtaking Danzante Bay and the Sea of Cortez, which explorer Jacques Cousteau once dubbed the “Aquarium of the World.”
