With the 94Fifty SmartNet, InfoMotion Sports has addressed one of its most requested features by its customers – the ability to track whether the shot was made or missed with the 94Fifty Smart Sensor Basketball.
Dublin, OH (PRWEB) October 29, 2014
InfoMotion Sports Technologies (http://www.infomotionsports.com) announced today the release of its much anticipated 94Fifty SmartNet™ extension to its 94Fifty Smart Sensor Basketball product line. In doing so, the company has addressed one of its most requested features by its thousands of customers – the ability to track whether the shot was made or missed.
The SmartNet is a product extension of the 94Fifty® Smart Sensor Basketball that was launched in November 2013 as the first product of its kind to measure and diagnose the quality of key basketball skills critical to build confidence, versatility, and success in the game. With a simple app upgrade to be released in early November 2014, and the purchase of a SmartNet, the 94Fifty app will record makes and misses for players of all ages. The app will count hundreds of shots during a workout, and overlay important shooting metrics like shot arc, shot backspin, and shot release speed so that players can better track how their shooting mechanics affect accuracy.
The award-winning 94Fifty basketball utilizes multiple motion sensors embedded inside the ball to measure the player who uses it in real time. It sends immediate shooting and ball-handling feedback to a mobile smartphone via Bluetooth, and gives players of any skill level access to some of the most sophisticated training feedback that improves important muscle memory skills more efficiently and effectively on a daily basis. The product includes a free, downloadable app that allows the player to train specific skills, work through levels of increasingly difficult workouts, compete head to head with any player based on their skills, and compete with anyone in the world via Twitter.
“We are very excited about the launch of the SmartNet to our existing and new customers ahead of the holiday season,” said Michael Crowley, CEO of InfoMotion. “Our team prides itself on delivering the highest quality innovation in the sports world. I can’t say enough about the quality and skill of the people behind all of our products, and we are equally excited about the amazing new experiences this new product will bring to our passionate and fast-growing list of customers.”
The SmartNet is an all-weather, high quality net that is impossible to differentiate from a normal basketball net. For use exclusively with the 94Fifty Smart Sensor Basketball, the free 94Fifty app upgrades will be available for both Android and IOS users. The SmartNet is available this holiday at http://www.94Fifty.com for $19.95. The 94Fifty Smart Sensor Basketball is available for $199.95 at http://www.94fifty.com, and select online retailers nationwide.
94Fifty Smart Sensor Basketball is the Official Smart Basketball of the National Association of Basketball Coaches and has been endorsed by the Amateur Athletic Union Basketball (AAU).
