Tollgrade Communications, Inc., the industry leader in redefining the global standard for reliability at the world’s largest electric utilities and telecommunications providers, announced today that Jim Jurkovec has been promoted to Vice President of Global Smart Grid Sales. In this role, Jim will report to Tollgrade’s CEO, Edward H. Kennedy, and will be responsible for leading its Smart Grid sales strategies for the LightHouse® platform worldwide.

With over 20 years of experience in high tech sales management, Jim Jurkovec re-joined Tollgrade in 2012 to drive sales efforts for the company’s flagship product offering to electrical utilities – the award-winning Tollgrade LightHouse platform, a real-time distribution monitoring and grid modernization solution. Prior to re-joining the company, Jim managed Key Accounts at DNV KEMA, a leading global authority in the energy industry, where he was responsible for sales and business development across multiple service lines. Prior to DNV KEMA, Jim led Tollgrade’s Telecom sales in the Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) and Independent Carrier (IOC) markets. Jim received his MBA from Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
