The complaint alleges that the Plaintiff engaged in non-exempt tasks throughout his scheduled shift, including driving to homes in order to conduct home tours and home inspections, preparing for and attending open house showings, attending various team meetings, and drafting "agent insights" detailing the description of homes for sale.The Complaint further alleges that Agents should be paid overtime wages because these employees were not engaged in work of a type that was or now is directly related to management policies or general business operations of the employer or the employes customers. As a result, the Complaint alleges the Plaintiff and the other Agents employed by Redfin were engaged in non-exempt work that did not involve the exercise of any independent judgment or discretion in matters of significance to the enterprise.
