Last week, Graebel Relocation was awarded a Silver and the Highly Commended Expatriate Management & Mobility Award (EMMA) for the EMEA region at the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM) awards gala that took place on Friday, November 7 in London. The Forum for Expatriate Management is a global organization that has united the global relocation and mobility community with information and events in the EMEA, Americas and APAC regions.

CEO, Bill Graebel SGMS accepted the awards on the Company’s behalf and also presented the first place EMMA to AECOM – winner of the Graebel-sponsored category for Best Global Mobility Program in the Industrial and Energy sector in the region. Other finalists for this category were: Air Energi, Bechtel, Bombardier, Bosch and Statoil. Each EMMA category’s finalists and winners were by an independent panel of judges in the relocation industry hand-selected by FEM.

Annually, FEM hosts three international conferences for human resource and talent management professionals in the Global 100 and Fortune 500 to discuss global and relocation industry trends. Each conference is concluded with an awards gala dinner. This marks the second Silver EMMA that the Organization has achieved in the International Moving Company of the Year category – one in APAC and one in EMEA for this year. This also marks the Company’s second Highly Commended Relocation Management Company of the Year in the EMEA and Americas’ regions in 2014.

With the conferences now concluded for the year, in all three regions, Graebel Relocation collectively earned these six EMMAs in 2014:

  •     Americas’ Global Mobility Professional of the Year – Bill Graebel
  •     Americas’ Highly Commended Relocation Management Company of the Year
  •     First place Thought Leadership Research Study for the Year in the Americas for the Company’s 2014 Relocation Policy Summit Summary
