SONKA further enhances the natural beauty of soapstone and combines long lasting comfort and warmth.

Tulikivi, the world’s largest manufacturer of heat-retaining fireplaces made from original Finnish soapstone, is proud to introduce a new designed fireplace to its collection, SONKA.
Tulikivi has built a reputation for combining timeless beauty with durable natural soapstone and clean geometric lines to form the perfect fireplace design, and the new SONKA is no exception. The new model, inspired by Tulikivi’s SONKA/C, is the largest model in its group, offering the best heat storing capacity with a new modern and sleek design. The model features a large glass door and smooth horizontal soapstones which resemble the popular VALKIA model.
“SONKA further enhances the natural beauty of soapstone and combines long lasting comfort and warmth,” says, Päivi Saarelainen, Marketing & Sales Manager of Tulikivi Oyj for North America. “In short, SONKA is a beautiful power heater.”
The new fireplace contains more natural stones with advanced combustion technology to keep even the largest rooms warm for hours with a small amount of wood. SONKA beats even the toughest emission standards and provides 87% heating efficiency using roughly 44lbs of wood per heating session, providing a maximum output of 100% for 4 hours, 50% for 20 hours and 25% for 35 hours.
SONKA can be combined with Tulikivi’s cost-effective W10 water heating system.
