“A Man in Control,” the tenth book by Louisiana author and prize-winning poet Harry E. Gilleland, Jr., has now been published in e-book format and is now available online at Amazon.com’s Kindle Store. The fiction novel tells the story of David Wynthers, a microbiology professor who needs to control all aspects of his life, which is thrown into turmoil by the death of his wife, causing a cascade of events for Dave to cope with – murder, mystery, terrorists tracking him, sudden wealth, a female police detective, and the FBI.

Author Bio: Harry E. Gilleland, Jr. is 70 years old and a southerner by birth and by inclination. Born and raised in Macon, Georgia, he now resides in Shreveport, Louisiana with his beloved wife, Linda. Harry retired in 2004 from a career as a Professor of Microbiology at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport and now devotes himself full-time to his writing. A writer of both poetry and prose, Harry has now published his tenth book.
