Electrical engineers, technicians, maintenance professionals, and buyers and sellers of surplus electrical apparatus will meet in Cleveland April 24-27, 2015, for the 18th Annual Electrical Safety, Reliability and Sustainability Conference & Exhibition at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland at The Arcade. The conference, which is focused on electrical safety and reconditioning standards, will explore topics including the latest electrical life-extension techniques, reconditioning standards, and technician certification.
The dual-track conference includes two days of technical presentations for managers and engineers, and a second hands-on training track for electrical technicians and maintenance professionals. This year’s training will focus on low-voltage electrically operated breakers and components. Speakers from Eaton, National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), National Switchgear, North American Switchgear, Inc., Select Equipment, Utility Relay Company, and more are scheduled to present at the conference. More detail on specific keynote and educational session topics and speakers, along with information on tours, networking, and receptions, will be announced as these plans are formalized.
The Electrical Safety, Reliability and Sustainability Conference & Exhibition is expected to draw more than 20 exhibitors and 150 attendees. Services and equipment used in testing, maintenance, and safe operation of recycled electrical materials will be on display.
