EdgeTheory is pleased to announce a partnership with Jackson Preparatory School in Jackson, MS. Under the leadership of Dr. Jason Walton, Prep provides students the best opportunities in academics, leadership skills and mentoring, and college readiness. Jackson Prep will use EdgeTheory’s proprietary conversation platform to find more pre-students who can be a positive impact in the culture of Prep. As a find engine, EdgeTheory will target the conversation intersections around Jackson Prep, allowing them to own the conversation about innovative education in central Mississippi. Dr. Jason Walton, will also assist EdgeTheory as a resident subject matter expert in higher education.

Joe Stradinger, Founder and CEO of EdgeTheory, says, “Jackson Prep is an exciting school where innovation meets established educational leadership skills. Prep graduates are highly prepared for college, and they also seem to care about coming back after college and reinvesting their skills in Mississippi. Under Jason Walton’s leadership, the frontiers of technology and best practices in the classroom are being pushed, making Prep one of the premier schools in the southeast. I am excited to partner with Prep in furthering their rich conversation."

“We have an outstanding presence across several social media platforms, with thousands of followers, and we utilize social media to educate our followers about events, accolades and updates here at Prep” states Dr. Jason Walton, Head of School for Jackson Preparatory School. “But we recognize that there are many people in central Mississippi that may never engage with any of our social media accounts. We believe our partnership with EdgeTheory will effectively disseminate our relevant content to those prospective families that may not otherwise follow our internal social media conversation.”

More than anything else, Jackson Prep is a school that passionately pursues academic excellence…it is what they do best. With your first step on our campus, you will sense something different about Jackson Prep. The students demonstrate it. The parents support it. The faculty and staff instill it. The alumni testify to it. It is an expectation of excellence in all that the school does. Over the years, this expectation has developed into a tradition unmatched by any other school in the state. Jackson Prep is unique in that students come from elementary and junior high schools throughout the greater Jackson area. When you consider the variety of individuals who compose Jackson Prep, it is not surprising that the students’ talents and intellectual strengths are as diverse as their personalities. Because they are a community of learners, they value the academic abilities of each student, and they focus all of our resources to nurture each one’s special interests.
