Three more Coast employees earn their CCCO designation from ACA International.

This certification is further proof of the talent of our leadership team, and provides assurance to our clients that their accounts are being handled using the best practices, processes, and procedures.

Coast Professional, Inc. is proud to announce that Jon Prince, Vice President of Operations; Amber Baker, Director of Operations; and Joshua Hobson, Director of Compliance and Quality Assurance, have earned the designation of Credit & Collection Compliance Officer (CCCO) from The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals (ACA International). This distinguished certification is designed for the advanced professional, and requires that the recipient demonstrate an in-depth range of knowledge on compliance strategy in the debt collection industry. To achieve this designation, the applicant must attend numerous classes and pass a rigorous exam at the end of the period, as well as complete ongoing continuing education seminars to maintain the certification. To date, only 175 individuals worldwide have earned this certification.

“We are so proud of Jon, Amber, and Josh,” said Brian Davis, CEO of Coast. “Their careers at Coast have clearly demonstrated their unwavering commitment to excellence, and dedication to providing the highest level of service to our customers. This certification is further proof of the talent of our leadership team, and provides assurance to our clients that their accounts are being handled using the best practices, processes, and procedures.”

“This is a tremendous achievement for all three of these people,” said Everett Stagg, President of Coast, “and I am proud that they have been recognized in this fashion. Jon, Amber, and Josh have each shown themselves to be leaders and never satisfied with the status quo. Their contributions to this firm have been significant, and being awarded their CCCO is just one more example of their drive to succeed,” concluded Mr. Stagg.

Jon Prince joined Coast in 2009, and has more than 13 years of experience in the collections industry. As Vice President of Operations, Mr. Prince is accountable for coordinating all business functions for Coast’s offices in Geneseo, New York; Henrietta, New York; and in West Monroe, Louisiana. He is tasked with providing high-level leadership for all campus, GA, and Department of Education collection programs, including some of the nation’s most recognized universities. He is a graduate of Alfred State College, holding an Associate’s Degree in Accounting.

Amber Baker began her career at Coast in 2010, and her hard work has been recognized by a series of promotions to positions of increasing influence, authority, and responsibility. She currently bears direct responsibility for supervising and developing the more than 125 employees assigned to the prestigious Department of Education contract.

Josh Hobson has worked for Coast since 2013, and is tasked with overseeing internal auditing, external audits required by clients and various regulations, licensing, compliance, and quality assurance. He has a bachelor’s degree in finance from New England College of Business, and is currently pursuing his MBA from Western Governors University.
